5 Great Homemade Mask for Damaged Kinky Hair

Is your hair dry, brittle and damaged?

Here are 5 tips for easy DIY hair masks made with simple ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.

As kinky and curly textured girls and boys, we experience lots of dryness. This is due to the natural texture of our hair and due to the fact that the oil that our hair naturally produces called sebum is unable to penetrate and glide through the hair shaft to keep the hair lustrous and shiny.

The simple answer to getting rid of dry hair is to increase the moisture of the hair. Frequent moisture increases the overall health of the hair and increase the hair’s elasticity. Also a moisturised hair feels good, soft and appears shiny and lustrous.

There are some great natural hair masks that you can make at home. I’ve tried them and they work great!
